All proceeds from Miles for a Mission 5K support Youth Development Scholarships at the Richard Kane YMCA.

The Y is the leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community by connecting people to their potential, purpose, and to each other. Working locally, we focus on empowering young people, improving health and well-being, and inspiring action in and across communities. The Richard Kane YMCA assists children and families by providing Youth Development Scholarships for activities such as Swimming Lessons, Football, Basketball, Cheerleading, Baseball, Lacrosse, Karate, Youth Fitness, and for YMCA hosted events such as the Annual Father Daughter Dance and Healthy Kids Day. Programs such as these teach positive character development and instill confidence in our youth, helping them to reach their full potential.

Partnering with 5 local schools in our community we provide before and after school care offering scholarship assistance for families in need. We also partner with 9 elementary schools in the Bartlesville area to offer “Safety Around Water", an aquatics introduction, empowering kids with the knowledge to be safe when playing in and around water. This program is provided at no cost to the schools or students.

These community programs and events and many more are all possible because of your generous support and participation in our Miles For a Mission 5K!
